We no longer have the luxury to wait and see .... we are seeing the destruction of the fundamentals of the American Dream, the willful undermining of Democratic principles of government, law, and the Constitution. The bankrupting of the country with an ever-growing deficit, wholesale selloff of American farmlands to China, control of the largest oil refinery and distribution system sold to Saudi Arabia. Betrayal of long-term western allies and a cold-shoulder shrug is given to all Veterans.

You can not stay at home and hope that something is going to change. Change and advancement happen here at the local level and trickles UP - you can not expect to have a voice when you stay away and do not participate. And, you must VOTE - something which Democrats did not do in the last election. Morgan County had one of the lowest voter turnouts in the last election on record - if Democrats had come out and voted we may have won an election in Morgan County.
